Mrs. Effie Hamlet Reeves, age 86 of the Sykes Community, died Saturday morning, February 7 at The Pavilion in Lebanon.
She is survived by: husband, Tommy Reeves; 3 children, Kenneth Harris of Carthage, Tony Harris and wife Janet of Hickman, Connie Denney and husband Rick of South Carthage; brothers, Jimmy Hamlet of Turkey Creek, Tommy Hamlet of Lebanon; brother-in-law, Walter Stewart of Gordonsville; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Reeves is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Tuesday morning, February 10 at 11:00 AM. Bro. Steve Law will officiate. Interment in the Gordonsville Cemetery with Clete Underwood officiating. Serving as pallbearers are; Jamie Hamlet, Sam McKinney, Jason Vandelav, Zach Bass, Jason Harris, Michael Clayborn, Bobby Law.
Visitation will begin on Monday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.
The family has requested memorials to the Ronald McDonald house.
