On February 12, 2023, Edward L. Winkler, of Hermitage, Tennessee, a beloved husband and devoted dad passed away at the age of 81.
He was born July 6, 1941 to Walter and Alma Winkler.
Ed spent four years in the U.S. Navy and went to Auto Diesel College. He loved anything that had an engine, and could tell you just from sound what kind it was or what was wrong with it.
Ed is survived by his wife, Mary; daughter, Margaret (Terry); granddaughter, Sarah; brothers, Howard (Pris) and Ronnie; sisters, Linda (Johnny), Donna, and Carolyn (Mike); and sixteen nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet, 2229 N. Mt. Juliet Rd., Mt. Juliet, TN. There will be an additional visitation on Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in the Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.
