Edward K. James, 95, born Oct 11, 1929, went to be with his Lord & Savior on Feb 4, 2025.
He’s survived by his wife of 69 1⁄2 years, Joanne; daughter, Pam (Gary); son, Cal (Betty Sue); grands, Ryan (Carey) & Mallory (Blake); great-grands, Emory & Georgia with one on the way.
He served very proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps, retired from Metro Public Schools and Metro Parks & Recreation. He served his Lord faithfully at Judson Baptist Church as deacon, teacher, coach, usher, greeter, encourager & friend.
His celebration of life will be at Judson Baptist Church, 4900 Franklin Road, Nashville, TN 37220 on Feb 7, 2025 with visitation from 12:00 to 2:00 with the service at 2:00. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
