Doris Lee Branch, of Lebanon and formally of Joelton, age 88, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026.
She was a woman of quiet strength and boundless love, the heart and foundation of her family. Her life was richly fulfilled, not by grand gestures, but by the countless ways she gave of herself—steadfast, generous, and unwavering. She loved her family beyond measure and will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Ridley Branch; parents John and Ruby Barry; and siblings Dorothy, Billy, Sadie, Joyce, James, Robert, Charles, Wayne, and Benny.
Survivors include her sons Eddie (Brenda) Branch and Chris (Wanda) Branch; grandchildren Jeremy (Robyn) Carter, James (Laura) Branch, and Liberty (Jacob) Tomlinson; great grandchildren Aiden Carter, Jedidiah Tomlinson, Ledger Tomlinson, Cooper Tomlinson, Ridley Branch, and Annalynn Tomlinson; and siblings Brenda Fay Cartwright and Sammy Richard Barry.
Visitation will take place at Anderson & Garrett Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 14th from 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. and again on Wednesday, April 15th from 11 A.M. until the time of Service at 1 P.M. with Minister Wayne Miller of 109 Church of Christ officiating. https://www.andersonandgarrett.com
