Delores Anne Willoughby, born on October 15th, 1938, passed away peacefully on April 24th, 2025, at the age of 86. Delores was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who touched the hearts of all who knew her. She lived a life full of compassion, generosity, and strength, always putting the needs of her family and loved ones first.
Delores had a deep love for animals, especially dogs and horses, and she enjoyed horseback riding throughout her life. She was also a great lover of sports, and her enthusiasm for them was contagious to those around her. Above all, Delores cherished spending time with her family, creating lasting memories with those she loved.
She was a dedicated employee for 25 years as an administrative assistant at Safeco Insurance Company, where she built many lasting relationships. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Delores was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth. She is survived by her sons, Lance (Joann) and Kenny (Emy); her cherished grandchildren, Rochelle and Zach; and many other extended family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home, located at 1700 Old Hickory Blvd., Old Hickory, TN, starting at 12:00 PM on April 30th. Family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate Delores’s life.
