On Friday, August 7, 2026, Della Louise Crawford peacefully departed this life, surrounded by loved ones. Born March 13, 1952, to the late Robert L. Patterson and Wilhelmina B. Patterson, she was the eighth of ten children. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Evelyn Rawls and Diane Johnson, and her brother, Robert E. Patterson.

As a studious woman with determination, Louise graduated from Franklin High School in Franklin, Tennessee, at the top of her class. At an early age, she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. In 1992, Louise accepted her calling into the ministry and later became a graduate of Victory Bible Training Center at Victory Fellowship Church of Nashville, TN.

As a devoted member of Family of Faith Church, formerly known as Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Minister Louise faithfully served in many areas of ministry. She led the Kidz Church ministry and choir, participated in the Van Ministry and Prison Ministry at the Tennessee Prison for Women, and served as Junior Choir President. She also generously used her gift of decorating to provide beautiful décor for the church.

As an entrepreneur, she possessed many talents. Her career as a florist and wedding coordinator began forty-plus years ago. She owned multiple brick-and-mortar businesses and contributed to many weddings, birthdays, and other celebrations. She was not one to withhold her many talents; she was an exceptional leader and mentor, willing to assist in any way that she could. She was a huge asset to the family by assisting alongside her sister, Ann, at Hardy Produce and also Kleer-Vu Lunchroom alongside Rebecca. Louise’s greatest accomplishments were never measured by titles or years of service, but by the lives she touched.

On August 12, 1972, she was united in holy matrimony to Earl D. Crawford Sr. They are the proud parents of five children: one girl and four boys. Earl and Louise celebrated their 50 years of marriage in 2022. After God, family was her biggest priority.

She leaves to cherish her memory: devoted husband, Earl D. Crawford Sr.; her children, Earl Jr., Quinton (Trina), Michael (Sonya), Jeffrey (Shavonda) Crawford, and Latisha (Gabriel) Swain; her grandchildren, Tylecia Miles, Quinton Crawford Jr., Jasmine (Fredrick) Sawyer, Mikia Crawford, Eurique Summers, Michael (Ahlohzah) Crawford Jr., Jeffrey Crawford Jr., Garrison Swain, Jordan and Joshua Crawford; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; five sisters, Ann Hardy, Mary Majors, Rebecca Patton, Janetta Nance, and Wilma (Chamberlain) Owens; one brother, Walter (Frances) Patterson; in-laws, Paul, Jackie, Tina, Larry (Linda) Crawford, and Patricia (Joe) Malone; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
