Mrs. Dell Marie Breeden Hughes age 91, of Nashville, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2024 at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
Dell was born on July 15, 1932 in McEwen, Tennessee to the late Buddie and Elsie Eudora Breeden.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Leechy Hughes; son, Wayne Leechy Hughes, Sr.; brothers, Bobby Breeden and Carley Breeden; sisters, Ophie Breeden and Effie Breeden.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth (Deborah) Hughes; grandchildren, Wayne Leechy (Michelle) Hughes, Jr., Christy (Joe) Carter, Abbie (Tim) Mallory, Michelle (David) Krause, and Ken (Chrissy) Hughes, Jr.; 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 19th at 12:00 PM from the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Hendersonville. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Nashville with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, April 18th from 4:00-8:00 PM and Friday, April 19th from 10:00 AM until service time at 12:00 PM.
