Mr. David Edward Robbins of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, June 8th, 2022, he was 79 years old. He was born in Crossville, Tennessee on July 9th, 1943.
David graduated from Cumberland County High School and went on to become a Stonemason. He owned and operated his own company: Robbins Marble and Granite Company, alongside his wife. He married Barbara Fay Robbins on December 26th, 1961 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was a proud member of Al Menah Temple.
David had many passions in life that he will be remembered for. Including, farming and tending to his cattle, which he did for over 20 years. Playing the banjo. Gambling and playing cards with his buddies. Being a talented golfer, which showed through him winning many tournaments while in Florida. Along with laying tile, and many more endeavors.
David is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Fay Robbins; daughter, Rhonda Robbins Coble; grand-daughter, Brittany Fay Williams; great-grandson, Lucas Medina; siblings, Bobby Robbins, Janette Reagan, Sandra Kincer, and Teddy Robbins; he is also survived by a host of other loving family and friends.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Alma Robbins; and his son, Kevin Robbins.
A gathering of family and friends for David will be held on Saturday, June 18th, 2022, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204, followed by a celebration of life service beginning at 2:00 pm.
