Daniel ‘Moe’ Charles Moulding age 66, left us on March 21st, 2022 with his children by his side in Nashville, Tennessee.
Daniel was born March 12, 1956 to late father Stanley Moulding and late mother Mary Moulding.
The family moved to Warrenville, IL where Daniel grew up and spent most of his younger years alongside siblings Carol Thorpen (Moulding), Scott Moulding, and George Moulding as well as many close friends he considered family (the Hooligans).
The next chapter of his life was spent in Plano and Yorkville, IL where he became a father to three little Hooligans, Lana Shoulders (Moulding), Ryan Moulding, and Karli (Moulding). He spent many years working in the world of concrete, driving a ready mix truck. When he wasn’t driving his mixer, you would be able to find him on one wheel on the infamous Yamaha 500 and in the colder months, on his lineup of Polaris snowmobiles.
Other exciting things to keep Moe busy included: Volunteering for the Warrenville FD, enjoying various outdoor water activities, mowing the lawn with his John Deere, and spending time with his four legged best friends, his dogs. A majority of his vacation time was spent traveling up to northern Wisconsin and Michigan in the summer and winter months. He loved this time spent with his family and close friends, always accompanied by a cold Budweiser.
Moe was the life of the party, made you laugh until you cried, and never took life too seriously. He will be missed by his children, their significant others, siblings & their spouses, nieces & nephews, and all of the friends he called family. Though his adventures here may have ended, we know Moe is continuing the party elsewhere and will forever leave behind with us his legacy of laughter.
A celebration of Dan’s life will be held on Friday, May 13th, 2022 at the Warrenville VFW beginning at 4 pm. Cold ones and memories will be shared in Moe’s honor. As Moe would say, “Let’s git-r-done!”
