Daniel Louis LeClair transitioned to be with the Lord on Monday, August 8, 2022, he was 21 years old.
He was a talented student with a passion for studying history and the word of God. He was an inquisitive and loving son, brother, grandson, nephew and cousin. Though most importantly, Daniel knew that he was a child of God. Daniel may have lost his long and brave battle, but not without leaving his mark on this world and those who came to know and love him.
A recipient of an Honors Diploma from Republic High School in Nashville, Daniel began his collegiate studies at Nashville State Community College. Receiving multiple distinctions of Summa Cum Laude while at Nashville State Community College, Daniel was accepted as a transfer student at Tennessee State University where he planned to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in History.
Daniel is survived by his two parents, mother Ivy Sharpe and father Chad LeClair; great-grandmother Juanita (née Marquette) Shinault; grandparents Walter (Karen) Sharpe, Ila Sharpe, David and Christiane LeClair; aunts Grace (Keith) Perkins and Heidi (Glenn) LeBlanc; brother Andrew LeClair and sister Aaliyah LeClair; immediate cousins Eden and Micah Perkins and Sarah and Jessica LeBlanc; and an extensive network of Great-Aunts, Great-Uncles and distant cousins around the nation.
His family will hold a public visitation on Friday, August 12, 2022 from 12P – 6P at Terrell Broady Funeral Home, 3855 Clarksville Pike, Nashville, TN, with a funeral service on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 2 pm in the Chapel at Terrell Broady Funeral Home.
