OBITUARY: Cynthia Lynn “Cindy” Busby

Cynthia “Cindy” Lynn Busby, Age 49, of Jackson, TN previously Nashville, TN passed away upon impact due to a motor vehicle accident on Sunday, May 3, 2026.

Cindy was born on August 29, 1976, in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Auda Brady and Martha Brady. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter: Kaley Busby; brother: Kenny Brady; niece: Stephanie Reeves.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 28 years, Timmy Busby; children: Austin Hunt and Chelsea Busby; grandchild: Levii Robertson; sister: Vicky Jordan, Pat Raymond, Darlene (Glenn) Duke and Janice Brady; nieces: Christie Jordan, Gina (Jason) Johnson, Jennifer (Ryan) Davis, Brittany (James) Upchurch, Preston McCloud, Katelyn (Aaron Justice) Busby, Aubrie Busby, Abbie Busby, McKenzie Busby, Twyla (Adam) Thompson, Jesse Whitaker, Bobby (Jaime) Whitaker; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family, and friends.

Cindy graduated with her GED from Whites Creek High school. In 1995 she met her beloved husband working at a Sonic Drive-in, where she worked on and off for over 30 years. She also worked as an operation manager at First Tennessee Bank from 2005 to 2014 (9 years). In early 2025 She and Timmy bought Busby Bar and Grill in Jackson, TN.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and an avid traveler. She enjoyed time with family and friends, especially listening to music and reading books. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family and all who knew her.

Visitation will be at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home, 2707 Gallatin Pike, in Nashville on Monday, May 11, 2026, from 3pm -7pm. at 7pm there will be a Celebration of Life in the parlor.
