Cynthia Annette Blankenship, age 61, of Dover, TN, passed away at her residence on Friday, May 16, 2025. Born on June 12, 1963, in Clarksville, TN, she was the cherished daughter of the late Robert Harris and Ellie Schmittou Seay.
Ms. Blankenship devoted her life and career, caring for others, working as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Private Sitter. Her gentle spirit, strong work ethic, and compassionate demeanor made a significant impact on many people. Most notably, Ms. Blankenship was a dedicated mother and grandmother who deeply valued her family. She also had a special connection with her beloved dog, Abby, who predeceased her.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Blankenship was preceded in death by her son, David Blankenship; her daughter and son in law, Christy and Jason Acres; her brothers, Robert Harris, II and Thomas Harris; and her sister, Margie Proctor.
She is fondly remembered by her children: Michael Blankenship, Glen Materi, II, Lisa (Daniel) Greenwood, and Angela (Thaddeus) Baughman; daughter in law, Melissa Blankenship; sister, Cynthia Reynolds; 14 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Her favorite color is purple.
