Clarence R. “Bob” Sweeney

Clarence R. Sweeney, affectionately known to family and friends as “Bob,” age 85, passed away on April 8, 2026, in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born on February 9, 1941, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Bob proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, a role he held with great honor and pride throughout his life. His love for aviation reflected his admiration for his time in service, and he carried that passion with him always. He also found great joy in riding his motorcycle and taking trips, embracing the freedom of the open road.

Bob shared a deep and meaningful love with his girlfriend, Carol, who was truly the love of his life. Their bond was one of companionship, devotion, and care.

He is survived by his two daughters, six grandchildren, one granddaughter, and several great-grandchildren, all of whom will deeply miss him. Bob touched the lives of many, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him described him as a sweet, kind, and loving person.

He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his love for family, and the joy he brought to those around him.
