Charles “Chuck” Waits, 85, of Nashville, TN, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2024. Chuck was born on October 13, 1938, in Jackson, Michigan. A proud Navy veteran, he honorably served his country during the Vietnam War.
Chuck had many passions throughout his life. He was an active tennis player and a lover of classical music, Chuck played both the French horn and piano. And he was an avid fan of Michigan sports teams.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 34 years, Michiko Waits; his brother, Robert Waits; and his parents, Charles and Ernestine Waits. His is survived his daughters, Lisa Waits (Robert Sears) and Michele Waits (Brad Adamczyk); his grandchildren, Emmeline Sears, Luke, and Sophie Adamczyk; his siblings, Edward (Nancy) Waits and Anne Elkins; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Services will be announced at a later date.
