Carol Ann Thomason, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2024, in Nashville, Tennessee, just one day shy of her 90th birthday.

Born on September 13, 1934, in White Bluff, Tennessee.

Preceded in death by her husband William Thomason and parents Paul and Doye Tidwell.

She is survived by her children Julie Huffman, Amy (Mark) Andreola, Lee Ann (Steve) Cole; grandchildren Viktoria (Dan) Cartmill, Ashley (Danny) Sanchez, Lindsay Huffman, Wesley (Cassidy) Hammer, Stefan Huffman, Austin (Samantha) Cole Paul (Vittoria) Hammer, Jackson Cole; great-grandchildren Murphy Cartmill, Charlee Ann Cole, Leo Sanchez, Lilly Sanchez, Olivia Hammer and Macey Hammer as well as numerous friends.

Carol Ann’s life was filled with love, family, and her cherished hobbies. She was known affectionately by her grandchildren as “itchy” because she could never sit still. Her energy for life was evident in everything she did. A passionate golfer, she was a proud member of the Hillwood Country Club, where her prowess on the green led her to remarkable accomplishments, including a hole-in-one and several tournament victories. As an avid participant in the 18-hole golf group, she cherished the camaraderie and competition. When she could no longer play golf herself, she eagerly turned to watching it on TV.

In addition to her love of golf, Carol Ann had a profound appreciation for the beauty of the outdoors. She was a member of a gardening club, where her passion for flowers thrived. She also took pride in supporting her family in sporting events, and activities that involved her children when they were growing up. She enjoyed watching her children play sports and never missed an opportunity to cheer them on.

Carol’s connection with her faith community was strong; she was a dedicated member of Bellevue Christian Church, where she formed cherished friendships.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:30 PM with the burial to immediately follow all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home https://www.harpethhills.com

As Carol Ann Thomason is remembered, her legacy of kindness, love, and spirited joy will undoubtedly resonate in the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed, but her vibrant spirit will live on in the hearts of her loved ones forever.
