A devoted follower of Christ and a beacon of faith, Bobby Lee West entered his eternal rest on May 17, 2025, in Nashville, TN. Born on December 30, 1933, in Nashville, TN, Bobby’s life was a testament to his unwavering commitment to his Lord and the values he held dear.
An active and longtime member of Goodlettsville First Baptist Church, Bobby’s faith guided him in all aspects of life. His servant heart inspired those around him, exemplifying Christian love through his kindness, support, determination, and confidence. He proudly served his country as a member of the 82nd Airborne in the United States Army, showcasing his dedication and courageous spirit.
Bobby cherished every moment with his beloved wife, Pat, as they explored God’s creation together, traveling to 80 cities both domestically and abroad. His love for sports, outdoor activities, and travel was a reflection of his appreciation for the blessings bestowed upon him.
He found joy in teaching friends and family how to water ski, spending summer days on Center Hill Lake. Celebrations of holidays and birthdays were filled with family, boating, and the serenity of the lake—even in December. Bobby’s passion for bringing people together in fellowship highlighted his loving nature as a father and grandfather.
His life was enriched by moments shared with loved ones, whether it was embracing the great outdoors or simply gathering in gratitude. Bobby’s legacy is one of faith in action, a reminder to live each day in service to others and in devotion to God’s will.
May we find comfort in knowing that Bobby now dwells in the house of the Lord. His life encourages us to walk faithfully on our own journeys, seizing each day with purpose and joy.

Those who have passed on before him are his parents, Clarence and Leigh West, his loving wife of 63 years, Pat West, and his brother, Ray West.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are sons, Jeff (Leslie) West, Greg (Dawn) West, grandchildren, Justin (Stephanie) West, Adam (Molly) West, Caleb (Kristina) West, Julia (Seth) Stroud, great grandchildren, Luke West, Aubrey West, Trey West, Mabry West, Margaret West, and sister, Jean Allen.
