With deep sorrow and loving remembrance, the family of Binyam Fekadu announces his passing on November 3, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee. Binyam was born on November 22, 2013, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and in his eleven years he touched the hearts of all who knew him.
Binyam was known for his infectious smile, gentle spirit, and the natural kindness he shared so effortlessly with everyone around him. He was a respectful, thoughtful, and loving young boy who brought light and joy to his home, school, and community.
He especially enjoyed playing video games, swimming, reading, and collecting rocks, always finding wonder in the small and beautiful things in life. His favorite colors, red and blue, reflected his bright and joyful personality. His greatest happiness came from spending time with his family and friends, where he laughed easily, shared openly, and loved deeply.
Binyam is lovingly cherished and forever remembered by his mother, Yewebdar Tadesse, and his father, Fekadu Admasu; his brother, Ammanuel Fekadu; his grandmothers, Ejegayeha Denake and Tibereh Kebreab; his grandfather, Dr. Tadesse Kidane-Mariam; his aunt, Lakech Gessesse; and his uncle, Dawit Tadesse, along with extended family and many friends who will hold him in their hearts always.
Though his time on earth was far too short, the love he gave and the joy he brought will live on forever. Binyam’s memory will be carried in every smile he once inspired and every heart he touched.
