Bettye M. Latimer, age 91 of Goodlettsville went home to be with the Lord on September 4, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years and the love of her life, Charles Latimer; parents, Will and Sara Sims Martin; son, Michial Latimer.
She is survived by daughter, Celeste (Bill) Thomas; sister, Sara Stubbs; grandchildren, Nick (Casey) Thomas, Rob (Heather) Latimer, Garth (Dana) Thomas, and John (Abbey) Latimer; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Latimer, Jake Latimer, Tucker Thomas, Trent Thomas, Harper Latimer, Whitley Latimer and Easton Latimer.
Bettye loved the Lord, her family, friends, and church family. She was a faithful member of Cornerstone Church and loved attending The Gathering. She loved having fun and especially enjoyed her Thursday game days in the hearth room.
Funeral Services will be Monday, September 13th at 1 pm in the Worship Center at Cornerstone Nashville, 726 W. Old Hickory Blvd., Madison, TN 37115 with Pastors Galen Davis and Deeanna Wall officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery with her grandsons Nick Thomas, Rob Latimer, Garth Thomas, John Latimer, and nephews Larry Stubbs and Alan Stubbs serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brian Lohouse, Jonathan Rummel, Bill Wilson, Mr. Jim Story, Lana Tracy, James Long, Mike Wilson, and her Domino Buddies. Visitation with the family will be prior to the service beginning at 11 am.
