Barbara Bradford Tucker, age 91, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 28, 2025.

Born on June 18, 1933, she was the daughter of the late James Floyd and Bessie Lee Nevin Bradford.

Barbara was a lifelong resident of Nashville, where she graduated from North High School. She dedicated much of her professional life to serving her community, working in both the Metro School System and the Post Office. Her commitment to her work and her love for her family were evident in all she did.

A devoted member of the Daughters of the King, Barbara was a woman of deep faith and found great strength in her spiritual community. In her personal life, she had a deep passion for reading and raising horses. In her later years, Barbara enjoyed unwinding with her favorite movies and TV shows, always eager to explore new stories.

Barbara was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen Fleet; Ellen Weathers; and Ann Tucker Stewart; her grandchildren, Noah Stewart; Shaun Stewart (Benjarin); Michael Weathers (Jamie); Trey FLeet; and Nathan Majors; great-grandchildren, Aiden O’Neill; Ethan Weathers; Stella Stewart; Gemma Majors; and Christian Stewart; and sister, Jamie Bradford.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Maurice Tucker and son, Alan Tucker.

A gathering of family and friends for Barbara will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A celebration of life service will follow on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 1:00 pm, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204.
