Ann Dabbs Von Mann, age 90 passed away on December 5, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Milton Von Mann, parents, Philip J. O’Brien and Jane D. Dabbs, brother, Philip J. O’Brien III and her sister, Jane Riordan Harris.
She is survived by her children, Philip Von Mann (Kathleen), Theresa Von Mann Cochran (Jeff), Stephen Von Mann (Julie) John Von Mann (Angie) and Mary Von Mann Gunter (Jerry), 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Von Mann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a true Nashville native. She went to grade school at Cathedral Catholic School in 1946, graduated from St. Bernard’s Academy in 1950 then graduated St. Thomas Nursing School in 1953. Ann served as a nurse in the United States Air Force. While on active duty in Japan she climbed Mt. Fuji a feat, she was very proud to accomplish.
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 8, 2022, from 4-7 PM with a Rosary service at 6:30 PM at Marshall-Donnelly and Combs Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be on Friday at 10 AM at The Cathedral of the Incarnation.
