It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of André Lemar Adams, age 58, of Nashville, Tennessee, who left us on April 23, 2025. André was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, surrounded by love at the time of his passing.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Marla N. Adams, daughters Porsha Scruggs and Fallan Lloyd, grandson Timothy Potter, beloved mother Peggy A. Adams, brothers Kenneth Adams and Maurice Adams, sisters Sharon Adams and Kimberly Holbert, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends who will cherish his memory.
A public viewing will be held on Thursday, May 15, at Smith Funeral Directors, 706 Monroe Street, Nashville, TN 37208, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Family visitation will take place at Bethesda Original Church of God (House of Healing), 2816 Tucker Road, Nashville, TN 37218, Friday May 16, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by services from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Internment services will be held at Middle TN State Veteran’s Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Lane, Nashville, TN 37221, 2:00 PM.
André will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him. Send flowers to the service of André Lemar Adams.
