Alice Jean Underwood, 53, died Nov. 17, 2021 in the Alive Hospice facility in Nashville, TN after losing a year-long battle with cancer.
She was a native of Columbia, TN, daughter of Alton and Wanda Sanders Underwood.
Survivors include her father: Alton Underwood; a son: Alan Dooley; sisters: Teresa (Tim) Brady, Susan (Tony) Williams, and Trudy Barnett; uncles: Ronald (Nancy) Underwood and Bill(Tammy) Sanders; aunts: Carol Ferguson, Ruth Davis, Shirley Parton, Melba (Don) Lee, Carolyn(Tommy) Anderson, and Debra (Ricky) Lyons; also, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Underwood Ragsdale, and grandparents: Thomas E. and Carrie Sanders, Prois M. Underwood, and Frances Underwood Lewis.
Graveside services will be held Monday, Nov. 22 in Nashville, TN at Woodlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Jack Davis officiating. Contributions in her memory may be made to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson St. Nashville, TN
