The Study, a new speakeasy-style bar and lounge, has opened its doors in the heart of SoBro. Boasting a wall-to-wall bar, library-inspired details, intimate booths and dining tables, The Study is a haven in the heart of downtown’s business district. Just steps from Schermerhorn Symphony Center, Broadway and Ascend Amphitheater, the bar will be open daily serving lunch, happy hour and evening bites and cocktails.

The menu, curated by Executive Chef Ryan Brewer, draws inspiration from a variety of culinary influences, including French-bistro-inspired American cuisine and Spanish tapas. Menu favorites include light bites such as well-crafted charcuterie boards, house marinated olives and baked oysters. The Study’s beverage program highlights signature cocktails and martinis, with weekly specials including Martini Fridays and an elevated Margarita night on Wednesdays.

Situated on the first floor of the exclusive Nashville City Club, The Study is the first public-facing space from the renowned downtown professionals club, established in 1957. The bar is designed to pay homage to the club’s historic location, incorporating thoughtful details such as black and white photographs and old textbooks which were once shelved in the club’s former library. The Study serves as a new and luxurious way to network and unwind downtown. Reservations are not required; the bar is first-come first-served.

Hour of operation are  Monday: 11 am-3 pm, Tuesday–Friday: 11 am -3pm, 4 pm-9 pm
and Saturday: 4 pm-9 pm. Find the SoBro bar at Nashville City Club, First Floor – 200 2nd Ave. S. Nashville, TN 37201.
