NES Customers to See Rate Increase

Nashville Electric Service (NES) customers will see a rate increase next month. NES says the average residential customer will see an increase of 3.6%. This increase begins in October.

The last NES rate increase was 2017.

As an NES customer, your energy dollars go to TVA for power generation, tmaintain equipment and to meet the energy needs of a growing city.

As one of the 11 largest utilities in the nation, NES distributes power to nearly 420,000 customers, including all of Nashville and Davidson County and parts of the six surrounding counties, covering 700 square miles. NES employees are committed to maintaining nearly 5,900 miles of distribution and transmission lines daily.
