A 15-year-old Nashville youth died late this afternoon when a forklift that he was playing on/operating overturned on top of him on the lot of an equipment rental business at 505 Davidson Street.
The victim is identified as Jayden Dalton, a student at Maplewood High School.
Jayden and another juvenile started the engines to machinery on the lot. A witness reported that Jayden was doing donuts on the forklift when it overturned. His death is being classified as accidental.
