June 24, 2024 – On Monday, a Nashville man fled from deputies at a high rate of speed during an attempted traffic stop on Highway 386.
He briefly evaded arrest, traveling from Gallatin into Hendersonville. Officers from the Hendersonville, TN Police Department located the vehicle shortly thereafter at a shopping center off Indian Lake Boulevard.
Deputies and officers then set up a perimeter and apprehended the suspect within an hour at a nearby apartment complex.
William Blackwell of Nashville now faces multiple charges and has been booked into the Sumner County Jail.
