Spend your Saturday at the Nashville Farmers’ Market (900 Rosa L Parks Boulevard Nashville, TN, 37208) without spending too much green at the annual Turnip Green Festival, which makes its triumphant return on Saturday, November 6th from 8 am – 4 pm!
This fall harvest event, sponsored by Smiley’s Farm, has been a staple in the Farm Sheds for over a decade, and market organizers are so excited to see the iconic big plastic bags of bushels of turnip greens being loaded into cars again.
The Turnip Green Festival is known for great greens (fresh and cooked), delicious food, and groovy live music—and this year will not disappoint!
Chef Tandy Wilson will have a special appearance with a BBQ Pop-Up that will offer eats sold per plate, pound of meat or quart sides.
Soulful grooves will be provided by The Music City Nightcaps from 10 AM until 2 PM in the outdoor patio area.
