Homicide Unit detectives are investigating a potential drug motive in Tuesday’s shooting in an abandoned home on Crowe Drive that left one man dead and another injured. More Crime!
North Precinct officers found an 18-year-old victim conscious on the sidewalk with several gunshot wounds. He informed officers another man was inside the residence and had also been shot.
The deceased victim, tentatively identified as a 23-year-old, was found in the basement with multiple gunshot wounds. The Medical Examiners Office will work to positively identify him.
The 18-year-old was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he remains in critical, but stable condition.
