October 16, 2022 – Homicide Unit detectives are investigating the targeted, fatal shooting of Leroy Brown, 17, at his home on Vista Lane early Sunday morning. Brown was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died.
Brown’s family members were inside the home at the time of the shooting. No one else was injured.
The preliminary investigation indicates at least two suspects were involved.
The motive is unknown at this time.
