UPDATE, 2:04PM: All lanes have reopened.
A motorcycle crash closed Interstate 24 Eastbound in Davidson County near mile marker 56 Friday morning.
The crash has prompted a full closure of the eastbound lanes, with traffic being diverted at Exit 56. Officials also report the left shoulder of the westbound side is blocked.
Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes and expect delays in the area.
The cause of the crash and the extent of any injuries have not been released.
