MNPD Working To Identify Group Of Vehicle Thieves

September 25, 2023 – East Precinct detectives are working to identify three persons believed to be responsible for several vehicle thefts/attempted thefts over the last two weeks.

The group is being investigated for the following incidents:

• September 11 in the 900 block of Boscobel Street
• September 11 in the 800 block of Dew Street
• September 11 in the 1300 block of Lenore Street (two cars, a Nissan Murano and Volkswagen Jetta were stolen)
• September 11 in the 600 block of Lenore Street
• September 12 in the 1000 block of Lenore Street
• September 15 in the 900 block of Russell Street

The majority of the vehicles had windows smashed and steering columns broken to gain entry and access. Other than the two vehicles in the 1300 block of Lenore Street, all vehicles involved were Hyundai’s.
