April 16, 2024 – Central Precinct detectives are working to locate Jerald Marquese Sanford, 33, accused of stabbing another man on March 31 in Walk of Fame Park. The male victim said the suspect, later identified as Sanford, approached him and aggressively asked for money before walking away.
The suspect then returned with a knife and the victim was stabbed in the neck. The suspect fled on foot.
The victim was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he was treated for a severe laceration.
An attempted criminal homicide warrant has been obtained against Sanford.
