December 20, 2022 – TITANS (The Investigative Team Addressing Neighborhood Shootings) detectives Monday evening arrested the man who fled from them in heavy traffic on November 8 driving a 2021 Dodge Charger that had been stolen in Wisconsin. More than a pound of marijuana, two digital scales, and two cell phones were recovered from the abandoned Charger that night on Shiaway Court.

An analysis of the phones pursuant to a search warrant led to the identification of the driver of the Charger, Reginald Lee Harding Jr., 27, of Windsor Green Boulevard in Goodlettsville. Undercover detectives moved in on Harding as he arrived home Monday evening. He tried to run but was apprehended after a brief foot chase. Recovered during the arrest were a loaded Glock pistol, four bottles of the prescription drug promethazine (sedative/antihistamine), 3.5 pounds of marijuana, 43 oxycodone pills, a digital scale, and $12,000 cash.

In the November 8th incident, the stolen Charger was seen traveling on the shoulder of the interstate to bypass heavy traffic. The temp tag on the vehicle was not on file. Surveillance of the Charger was initiated by an MNPD helicopter crew. It crashed into another car at the intersection of Bell Road and Murfreesboro Pike and kept going. It was recovered abandoned a short time later on Shiaway Court.

Harding is charged with vehicle theft, two counts of marijuana possession for resale, possession of oxycodone for resale, felony evading arrest, and gun possession during the commission of a felony. A judicial commissioner set Harding’s bond at $69,500. He posted it and was released from jail at 12:56 a.m. today.
