A man with multiple outstanding domestic violence related charges, who was listed on the Criminal Warrants Division’s top ten list this week, was arrested on June 22 following an hours long standoff with several MNPD components, including Domestic Violence detectives, East Precinct detectives and SWAT.
A tip was provided this week that John Leslie Patton Jr., 44, was staying at a home on Allenwood Drive. Detectives made announcements for Patton to come outside yesterday afternoon when an occupant exited and confirmed Patton was inside.
Patton was wanted on two domestic assault, two aggravated assault and probation violation charges for incidents involving physical violence with multiple victims since 2022.
He was taken into custody without incident and is being held in lieu of $24,500 bond.
