December 20, 2023 – A cyber tip from an Internet cloud storage provider led to today’s arrest of Nashvillian Cort Fredin, for receiving an image of child sexual abuse.
A detective from the MNPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit spoke with Fredin who admitted he previously encountered child sexual abuse material online and acknowledged remembering seeing the image.
Fredin is charged with one count of sexual exploitation of a minor. He is jailed on $7,500 bond.
