November 16, 2022 – Luis Vazquez, 46, is charged with the September 23, 2018 fatal shooting of Jose Vergara in a parking lot at 2051 Antioch Pike after the two reportedly argued over a fender bender after their vehicles collided.
Vazquez was arrested Sunday after he was stopped on Murfreesboro Pike for driving without his head or taillights activated. He smelled of alcohol and was in possession of a small amount of cocaine. He was charged with DUI and on outstanding homicide and aggravated assault warrants.
Aliases for Vazquez include Teodoro Ortiz and Jose Perez-Montelongo.
