East Precinct officers, May 14, charged Marek Malone, 45, with making a threat of mass violence at a school after staff at Warner Arts Elementary on Russell Street reported that he walked onto the playground intoxicated just before noon, pointed “finger guns” at teachers and students, and said he was going to shoot them. School staff gathered the students and rushed back inside the building. Officers located Malone near the intersection of S. 6th and Russell Streets. He smelled of alcohol and had difficulty standing. He is also charged with public intoxication.
