Homicide detectives this afternoon charged Jose Claros-Barahona, 34, with criminal homicide for the February 27th fatal shooting of Jesus Munoz-Bonillia, 30, outside a billiard hall at 1088 Murfreesboro Pike.
Claros-Barahona was taken into custody at his Laurinda Drive home.
Munoz-Bonillia was found dead in the driver’s seat of his car. He had been shot multiple times. During the course of the investigation, led by Detective Phillip Box, witnesses reported that Claros-Barahona had a gun and was seen near the victim’s vehicle when shots were fired. On the morning of the murder, Carlos-Barahona reportedly said that he fired shots to scare off the victim.
