The restaurant staple on 12th, Josephine, is permanently closing.
Announcing on social media,”After 10 great years, We are sad to announce that we will be closing our doors permanently when our lease ends next month. Our last day of service will be Saturday, December 23rd.”
Chef Andy Little, a James Beard award finalist, brought a unique approach to 12th South when there hardly any restaurants in the area welding his Pennsylvania Dutch upbringing with Southern food often shopping local farmers markets for the freshest ingredients.
Continuing, “We want to thank all of our guests, friends, neighbors and our fantastic team members for the love and support we have experienced over the past decade. Serving our community has been our joy and a true pleasure.”
Hours of operation are Wednesday- Thursday, 5 pm – 9 pm, Friday- Saturday, 5 p – 10 pm, and Saturday/ Sunday brunch 10 am – 3 pm, Sunday dinner from 5 pm – 9 pm.
