October 8, 2023 – Fatal crash investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the hit and run driver that struck a pedestrian Saturday at 10:30 p.m. on Central Pike near Old Hickory Boulevard.
The pedestrian, identified as a 59-year-old Nashville man, was standing in the turn lane on Central Pike when he was struck by a westbound SUV, possibly a newer model dark in color Ford Bronco. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died. Efforts are underway to notify his next of kin.
Anyone with information about the vehicle and/or its driver is urged to contact Hit and Run investigators at 615-862-7738 or Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
