July 15, 2024 – Homicide Unit detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding a woman found unresponsive Sunday morning on the Alta Lake Greenway trailhead off Dodson Chapel Road.
The woman, identified as 20-year-old Jamani Parker, was discovered by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers employees with a possible gunshot wound to the head.
She was transported to the hospital where she died.
