August 27, 2025 – A 14-year-old Hunters Lane High School student was arrested today after throwing a lit firecracker into a group of students in the gym. No injuries were reported.
The 9th grade student was identified and was in possession of a second, unlit firecracker.
The student was charged in Juvenile Court this afternoon with making a threat of mass violence, tampering with evidence and possession of a weapon-explosive.
