Healing Housing, a nonprofit recovery housing program for women, is partnering with FALL Productions for a new performance that shares the stories of women in recovery through movement, music and art. Click for More Events
The original production, Where We Meet, will take place August 7–9, 2026, at Oz Arts Nashville. The show combines aerial performance, contemporary ballet, storytelling and an original score by musician and composer Jon Epcar.
The performance was created through a collaboration between artists and the women of Healing Housing. Through writing workshops, conversations and movement sessions, the women helped shape the production, bringing their own lived experiences into the creative process.
“When Tracey and Skyler asked me to write the music, there was no question in my mind,” said Epcar. “I’m honored to be part of this project and to create a musical companion to these stories.”
Epcar also spent time with the women of Healing Housing during morning circle before composing the music.
“That conversation stayed with me as I wrote the music,” Epcar said. “It showed me that Where We Meet is an expression of the life experiences of real people.”
The result is a performance that uses music, dance and aerial movement to share the emotions and strength found in recovery.
“For me, the most meaningful part has been watching the music and movement come together while incorporating the actual words, thoughts, and expressions of the women at Healing Housing,” Epcar said. “It’s a true collaborative effort, and I’m grateful to contribute.”
Designed for all audiences, Where We Meet looks beyond the headlines of addiction and invites audiences to see the strength, vulnerability, and perseverance of women rebuilding their lives. The production also serves as a fundraiser and awareness-raising event for Healing Housing, while helping to spark conversations about recovery, healing, and stigma.
