A pedestrian was killed following a crash on Vietnam Veterans Boulevard on Friday morning.
It happened at State Route 386/Vietnam Veterans Blvd. near Hendersonville.
At approximately 9:30am, Hendersonville Police Department responded at mile marker 3 in the eastbound lanes where a can struck a pedestrian.
The pedestrian later died from his injuries. The pedestrian has been identified as 60-year-old Kerry Ellis from Goodlettsville, TN.
The road was closed as authorities investigated the crash. It reopened just before 11am.
