January 8, 2024 – A Glencliff High School 11th grader was arrested after he ran from the school during a random search by school administrators Monday morning upon which a vape and handgun magazine were discovered.
The 16-year-old fled to a nearby church where he was seen hiding a pistol that was quickly recovered.
He was taken into custody and charged with juvenile handgun possession and brining a gun on school property.
