Country rocker Sam Riggs with special guest Joey Green will perform at 3rd & Lindsley on Friday, August 13th at 8:00 pm. Riggs’ new album Dark Sky was released in May on all streaming platforms and radio stations across the U.S. Dark Sky is his fourth full-length album. Two months after its’ debut, Dark Sky hit over 700,000 streams and added nearly 600,000 listeners on Spotify. It has been added to editorial playlists to include “Next from Nashville” and “New Music Nashville”. Riggs also joined TuneCore’s 2021 Hot 100 Independent Artists to Watch and was announced as the headliner for the 2022 Texas Country Music Cruise and HWY 30 Music Fest.

Texas area native and Nashville transplant, recently known for his success on NBC’s The Voice, Joey Green joins Riggs on six dates of the Dark Sky tour. He has become a household name in Texas for his rock ‘n’ roll to soul country rollercoaster ride of a live show. This year Joey celebrates twenty years in music with a penned #1 on the Texas Regional Radio Charts, “Old Timers” with George Ducas, and a new album slated to release in the fall. Riggs and Green toured together in 2019 and 2020 with the Texas Music Takeover to Australia and the UK.
