Four Teenagers Arrested Following Armed Carjacking of GrubHub Driver

September 21, 2022 – Four teenagers are facing felony charges this morning after carjacking a GrubHub delivery driver at gunpoint on Oakwood Avenue yesterday afternoon.

The victim handed over the keys to her maroon Honda Accord and the four fled the apartment complex where she was making the delivery.

A pursuit was initiated, with help from aviation, after an officer spotted the Accord shortly after the carjacking. Once the suspects parked at North 6th Street and Richardson Avenue they bailed out of the car and fled on foot.

Detectives and canine units were able to quickly apprehend Kentrell Baugh, 15, Markel Smith, 16, Bra’Anna Harbison, 15, and Ra’Tarius Roberts, 15. A gun was also recovered.

Smith was arrested for an armed robbery of a man on Cabot Drive in October 2021.

All four have been charged in juvenile court with aggravated robbery and felony evading arrest.
