April 8, 2024 – MNPD Crash Investigators are working to identify the hit and run driver who Monday around 5:30 a.m. struck and critically injured a woman who was walking alongside McCall Street (no sidewalks) near Vaden Drive.
The preliminary investigation shows that Terra Rasmussen, 25, was walking against traffic on McCall Street when she was struck by a vehicle believed to be a 2014-2017 Toyota Corolla. The suspect car would have damage to the front passenger side and would be missing the front passenger side fender liner. Rasmussen, of Mimosa Drive, was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she is in critical condition.
Anyone with information about the hit and run driver/Toyota Corolla is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
