August 26, 2023 – A driver has died following Saturday’s 12:15 p.m. crash in the 7500 block of Old Hickory Boulevard. The preliminary investigation indicates a 65-year-old Pennsylvania man was traveling west towards I-24 in his Nissan Altima when, for reasons unknown, went off the left side of the roadway and struck trees.
The driver was transported to Skyline Medical Center where he died. Efforts are underway to notify his family.
His male passenger was transported to Skyline with non-life threatening injuries.
There was no evidence of impairment at the scene.
