Tennessee State University Homecoming Gala will take place Friday, October 13, 2023 at 6 p.m. at the Renaissance Hotel (611 Commerce Street Nashville, TN 37203).
The event will honor distinguished alumni and community leaders who have made a notable impact on TSU and the Nashville community.
This year’s program will acknowledge Senator Brenda Gilmore, Dr. Turner Nashe, and Mrs. Rosetta Miller-Perry as Grand Marshals. Homecoming Gala honorees include Dr. John Cade, Mr. Sammy Comer, and Dr. Gloria Johnson. The Special Presidential Lifetime Achievement honorees are Dr. Xernona Clayton, Ambassador Bobby Jones, Mrs. Barbara Murrell, and Mr. Homer Wheaton. The program will also pay tribute to TSU’s illustrious President over the past decade, Dr. Glenda Glover.
